The book was well worth the money, very interesting and straightforward. Tell you what to expect in the travel industry and how to navigate to get where what to be.
Didn't give me anything new. This was so basic it was ridiculous.
Could've stand to have a bit more in depth information.

Rip off Book!!! No such thing as travel agents earning any money in this day and age. Just look it up if you don't believe me @: www.bls.gov.
This book covered the basics and was a quick read. Helps to learn the different organizations, certifications and acronyms related to the travel industry.
Before I purchased this book I had already did a lot of research on the internet. One of the reviews stated "This book also contains comprehensive list including helpful guideline to picking on-site and local certification program." I was looking for that exact information to point me in the right direction of a reputable certification program. I didn't read anything close to what this reviewer read regarding this. Not basing my review on another person's input - this book has absolutely no additional detailed information than what you can find and read on your own in a few web searches. Save your money folks...in my honest opinion.
I have recently begun my research for my next career. I was excited to see this new book for my Kindle. I'm sorry to say it didn't include much more information than I've already found on the Internet. It took me about 10 minutes to read the entire book! So short...so sad.
