Poorly written and repetitive, no new info on how to Americanize Hygge. Should have been half the size if a real editor had seen this.
It is a fun read
I read the original book on hygge and I was hoping this book would provide new ideas for a more American version of hygge but this book seems like a less well-written copy of the real hygge book, The Little Book of Hygge. This book is repetitive, has many typos, and doesn’t offer any new perspectives on hygge. I would recommend just getting the book by Meik Wiking, as it has more research, insight, recipes, etc and is written by an expert.
So glad I borrowed this book and read it quickly. I must have drank cups and cups of coffee while reading in my knitted socks and blanket. Hygge has been great to learn and even better to create intention around in my own life to get away from technology and be redirected toward what really matters.
By reading this book I have learned more from this book. The author did an excellent job and also written very well. Thanks author for creating us a new book for all of us! I would highly recommended to read this book everyone.
