It's got a good message, but it's a little 'hokey,' for lack of a better word. It's also kind of sing-songy, rhyming on every page rather than just telling a story (I didn't realize that when I bought it). Still a good book though. Includes a great Bible verse at the end (Ephesians 3:17, NLT). Reading this semi-frequently should help plant that one in your child's memory...maybe even yours, too!
I bought this book for my 2.5 year old son and he loves it! He asks for it by name every night, and even talks about "making mistakes" now. The message is so powerful! We do our best so that others may see Jesus inside us. Sometimes we make mistakes but Jesus loves us more than we'll ever know, no matter what. The book ends with a short verse that I love to read as a prayer to my son. Such a great book, I'll definitely be buying some as gifts in the future!

The book is an easy read with a beautiful flow that covers several different scenarios where children can consider "what would jesus do." This may be the single best childrens book we have ever invested in for our boys. The theology is age appropriate for little ones, easy to understand and full of reassurance and encouragement. I love the pages where it lets them know that Jesus loves them even when they misbehave or make mistakes. A great read that my son asks for again and again, and we feel excited to keep turning his young heart to Jesus at such a tender age each and every time we read it. I highly recommend this book to any and all Christian parents and parents-to-be. In fact it may be the perfect item to gift at baby showers.
I personally felt this book was overpriced, but I bought it anyways because of the ratings. I am amazed at the effectiveness of this book in explaining Jesus to my 5 year old! Because of this book, my son thinks before continuing a tantrum, helps me around the house, and HAPPILY shares with his little brother...because he says doing these makes Jesus "glow" in him!! Every now and then, when he does "the right thing" he'll ask "mommy, am I glowing?" I'm surea parenting techniques play aa majorbatteries role in histo behavior, but this book definitely helped, and was worth every penny!!
When given a choice of books to read this has become one of my Granddaughters favorites. She loves to add extra words to it to make it more fun and show me where Jesus is living. A great start to help them understand about Faith in Jesus as well as toleration of all people and God's creatures.
This book is so beyond adorable. The words are so sweet and really encourages Godly interactions for children and how God can use children as His light.
I absolutely LOVE this book! I have ordered 2 of them but will continue to order them and keep them on hand for whenever I need a book for a child. I plan to give them to children when they accept Christ and are baptized! Will also prob give them when books are requested for baby showers- just a wonderful book!!!!! I couldn’tLove it more! Gonna purchase this authors other books for my grand children as well.
Beautifully illustrated and well written rhyming verses that tell a great story about how little children should act in different situations. My 3 year old has been glued to this book since it arrived, asking questions about what the children are doing in the illustrations and then he explains to me how that child should properly act (instead of fighting, we should share). He loves to hear the rhyming verses and is really taken with the illustrations. I thought it was just him, so I took it to Bible class and read it to the children there and had the same reaction. They just can't get enough of it. Children just love this book!
