Kids need to be taught about money and finances early on so they understand that money doesn't grow on trees! Blue Chip Kids is easy to read with kid-inspired examples and illustrations to explain what I used to think were complicated topics. It's an invaluable resource for parents wanting to give their kids a head start in life and instill good spending and saving habits from a young age.
Mr. Bianchi has written the most accessable book about finances I have ever read! I have been in the financial services industry for nearly forty years and have taught hundreds of classes on basic investment topics. I certainly could have used this excellent book for my adult students as well as thier kids.
Outstanding contribution to a much needed primer for kids, especially teens & young adults. Sadly neglected by both parents & schools, the subject of money management is paramount. As a result of this omission in a child's upbringing, we have a nation of young adults in serious debt & living off plastic. Tho the language of the book is somewhat advanced for young children, it nevertheless draws attention to this important subject. I was happily surprised to find that my 11-year old grandson has whipped thru half the book since I gave it to him for his birthday 2 weeks ago. Great book for the education of younger children and introducing them to the world of finance, I have my 7 year old read it chapter by chapter and test her on Fridays. She lives it and learning from it.
Great book for the family to read and discuss together. Information that isn't taught in schools and so, parents probably don't know either.
If David Bianchi can help teach the world about financial understanding as well as he helped me recover damages from getting hit by cars while riding my bicycle this should become a best seller !!
I would recommend this readying to every parent and grandparent before sharing with your children. It's a wonderful tool for learning financial fundamentals and you just might learn something yourself!
