Great source of information, been my garage bible while working on my ‘74 vette. Can’t go wrong with Haynes.
It has basic projects and repairs, which is a plus. On the down side it doesn't go into a lot of detail on on bigger repairs like radiator removal etc. Good to have but the actual service manual will be my next purchase. It just depends on what type of work you're comfortable doing on your own car.
Have these manuals for other vehicles. Always good to have in the shop
As Expected
It's useful but it often seems to lack the details I'm looking for, such as a diagram of the fuse box.
This purchase was an accident, I hit the buy button, not meaning to but since it was only $0.75 for I used book I figured why not. It is good for all of the basic repairs on an older corvette. It is a great tool for information if you are a corvette owner to add to your Assembly Manual or any other written reference since not one repair manual has everything or every view to repair your car something.
Just what I wanted
Informative like other Haynes books. Do not have dash pictures of a Corvette in their examples though, looks more like a Cadillac (thats why only 4 stars). Would be nice to see the dash pieces off so I can figure out where the pry points are. Otherwise, good book as usual.
