I ordered this to study for a state exam. It's called the test for "Constitutions of the United States and Arizona."So...where, I ask, was the US part?This book contained an outline of the AZ constitution and the full text of the same. And the practice test was on the AZ constitution. It mentioned NOTHING about the US constitution at all. Nada. Zip. Zilch. Zero.In the STATE guide for the test--actually by the people who issue the test--says the test content is 40% AZ Constitution and 60% US Constitution.Also, to add insult to injury, they apparently completely dispensed with the need to proofread and edit the book, in which I found multiple typos and at least two instances where the answers listed in the back were WRONG. Completely wrong. This is not the first XAM product where I have found this to be the case, either.Luckily, I was able to spot the errors and managed to find supplementary materials to study from. However, anyone relying on this as a study guide needs to be aware that this IS NOT A COMPREHENSIVE GUIDE. You will NOT find all of the content you need to study--far from it. It is NOT worth the money, and I wouldn't recommend their other products anytime soon.
This is a very low-quality study guide with typos and very little useful information other than the entire Arizona Constitution verbatim. Could have gotten that elsewhere. Nothing on the US Constitution! How can that possibly even be in the title of this book? I have never been this disappointed with a purchase.
Waste of money. Riddled with spelling and grammar errors, and questions on the practice test have wrong answers. It also did nothing to prepare me for the test. All it had was the Arizona Constitution, which is supposed to be 40% of test but I think it’s actually a lot less than that. Needs to have US Constitution as stated on the cover. Didn’t explain anything either. -5 stars. They need to take this book off the market >:\
I bought this book to prepare for the AEPA exam. Although it contained generic test taking strategies, it did not include basic information about the format of the test. The title was also misleading because the book just summarized the Arizona Constitution instead of reviewing the US Constitution (which is 60% of the content of the test). The book also contained numerous typographical errors. At least two of the sample exam questions were answered incorrectly. A better strategy for preparing for this test is to answer the test objectives provided on the state website. This was a complete waste of money.
This study guide does not include any information on the U.S. Constitution. It is not aligned with the objectives of the test for which it was written. The test questions are poorly worded and selected, and many of the answers are incorrect. The guide has many typographical errors and is poorly edited.
This book does not cover the US portion of the test. What it covers on the Arizona portion does not match the official test outline.
This helped me pass the Constitution of the US and Arizona AEPA teacher test, saving me from taking the class and doing all the work. It was very helpful, but not quite thorough enough where if you don't know anything about the US Constitution you may struggle - but very helpful on Arizona's constitution.
